Welcome to the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Family Medicine Residency Program!

We are looking forward to welcoming our first class in July 2018! We are a solo program with 6 residents per year, and have developed an innovative curriculum with a hybrid block/longitudinal schedule.

Our residents will practice team-based medicine grounded in scientific evidence, foster a meaningful connection with our diverse patients and their communities, and receive high quality training in a supportive environment. The San Jose Medical Center prides itself on a respectful and collaborative relationship between primary care and our specialist colleagues, which will enhance the residency experience.

The faculty have distinguished themselves both locally and regionally by practicing full-scope Family Medicine and expanding their expertise in pediatrics, OB-GYN, sports medicine and outpatient procedures.

We are very excited to train future Family Physicians, and are looking for prospective residents who are passionate, motivated, and willing to blaze a trail for others to follow. If this sounds like you, we invite you to join our San Jose Family!
