About Me
Dr. Jaber Saad earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and completed medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. We were first drawn to this fellowship training program by the incredibly welcoming fellows and faculty. He has enjoyed the diversity of his training experience both at KP and UCSF. His special interests include the effect of adverse childhood experiences on the development of genitourinary disorders, obstetrical anal sphincter injuries, and medical education. The Bay Area is wonderful, and Dr. Saad enjoys exploring the countless spectacular hikes in the hills and mountains and along the water with his wife and two kids.

About Me
I earned my medical degree and completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Hawaii. I instantly fell in love with the Kaiser-UCSF FPMRS fellowship program and had no hesitation moving to California. I was drawn to the friendly faculty and fellows, in addition to the breadth and depth of training at two major healthcare systems. Dr. Ramm is a fantastic program director and has always supported my personal growth and endeavors, such as incorporating my passion for transgender health as a part of my fellowship experience. Outside of work and research, I enjoy exploring the Bay Area’s parks and trails with my dog.

About me
Dr. Painter joined the Kaiser-UCSF Fellowship after completing her residency here at Kaiser Permanente Oakland. She received her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her clinical and research interests include obstetric pelvic floor trauma, which has led her to revamp the Kaiser Permanente East Bay postpartum perineal clinic. She works with the IOWD, International Organization for Women and Development, a non-profit organization which works to help treat obstetric fistula, and plans to continue this throughout her career. What she values most about her fellowship experience is the support and encouragement for autonomous learning to design a fellowship experience that suits the individuals needs and aspirations. About Me
Hello and thank you for visiting our program’s website. I attended medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed my residency at the LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. My special interests within our subspecialty include studying the long-term effects of anti-muscarinic medications in patients with overactive bladder and surgical pedagogy. I was most drawn to our program by the combination of training within the Kaiser system as well as an academic medical center, and our outstanding faculty. I was a professional classical musician before attending medical school and greatly enjoy finding the parallels between the worlds of music and medicine.
