What our Graduates are saying

“When choosing where to do my residency training, I was impressed by the IM program at Kaiser San Francisco for a number of reasons. The program provides a supportive learning environment, yet rigorous clinical training and high-quality teaching conferences. The faculty are top-notch: this is a great place to work and a wonderful city to live in, so the hospital attracts the best. After graduating, I was lucky to nab a spot as staff in the department of hospital medicine. I get a lot of enjoyment out of my job because of the tremendous patient variety, the teaching opportunities with house staff, and the camaraderie amongst my colleagues. It’s a great place to be!”

Alison Cooke, MD, Assistant-Physician-In-Chief and Hospitalist, Kaiser San Francisco

I came to Kaiser SF as a chief resident after training at UCSF, and was immediately impressed by the residency program. The supportive Kaiser health system allows residents to spend their energy on what matters most – getting amazing clinical exposure that draws from the diverse population of SF, education (with daily conferences and protected time for hands-on didactics), and supporting each other throughout their training. I couldn’t have asked for a better year of growth and learning myself, and can honestly say that the year at Kaiser has shaped the way I’ll practice medicine forever!

Lindsey Wu, MD, Hospitalist, Brigham and Women’s Hospital
