Curricular Interests
In addition to practicing general obstetrics and gynecology, I am fellowship-trained in Chronic Pelvic Pain and Vulvovaginal Disorders and receive referrals for women with these conditions from throughout the East Bay. Chronic pelvic pain, vulvar pain, pain with sex, recurrent vaginal infections and vulvar skin conditions are some of the conditions I treat in our specialized multidisciplinary clinic. I am originally from the East Coast but chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because I believe we offer a truly holistic, preventative approach that focuses on keeping healthy people well. In addition to my specialty training, I have interests in family planning, adolescent medicine, and LGBT health.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring the Bay Area with my partner and children, and cooking and baking.

My interests lie in general obstetrics, gynecology, menopause, office hysteroscopy and patient education media. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was in private practice where I focused on providing comprehensive health maintenance and preventive care to a highly diverse patient population. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010 because I believe that here, patients have the best of both worlds: access to cutting edge technology, clinical research and a large group of specialty leaders, yet still enjoy the opportunity to build a personal connections and meaningful partnerships with their physicians. To this endeavor, I strive to provide the highest quality, evidence based, compassionate medical care to you.
How I Thrive
I spend my spare time with my husband and two children. Our lives lovingly (and sometimes hectically) revolve around homework, gymnastics, swimming, soccer, cycling and spending time with family! I am an endurance cyclist, and spend as much time as possible enjoying our regional parks.

I went into ObGyn because I loved providing care for women at exciting and significant moments in their lives. I quickly learned that what I loved the most about ObGyn was pregnancy care, helping mothers be as healthy as possible as they prepare to welcome a new baby, taking care of women whose babies are sick before birth, and helping to ensure their deliveries are as safe and healthy as possible, and thus went into Maternal Fetal Medicine, or Perinatology/High Risk Obstetrics.
