Senior Director
TPMG Physician Education & Development

About the presenter

Dr. Rae Oser is the Senior Director of Physician Education and Development (PED) at TPMG, where she leads the leadership development team and oversees the department. PED supports physicians throughout their careers, offering programs in clinical medical education, professional growth, leadership development, clinician-patient communication, health and wellness, and recognition events—truly a central part of fostering physician success.

Rae earned her PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. She joined TPMG as a postdoctoral fellow in 1997, initially working as a behavioral medicine specialist in the Diablo Service Area. She later became a Communication Consultant, which introduced her to the breadth of PED’s offerings and inspired her to join the department in 2001. Since then, she has had the privilege of working with countless physicians and leaders across the organization.

Outside of work, Rae enjoys traveling—Italy and Switzerland were on her itinerary this May—watching football, and exploring the outdoors. Though her family remains in Michigan, where she grew up, she often times visits to enjoy the best weather possible. She is also the proud parent of two wonderful daughters, who continue to be a source of joy and inspiration in her life.
