Goals and Metrics achieved by quality leaders, managers, program managers<\/span><\/h1>[vc_column_text css=”” el_class=”block-intro”]Hospital and GME program goals and metrics translate to the quality of residency and fellowship training as well as patient care. These can be determined and achieved collectively by hospital leaders, Program Directors and Faculty. Examples include time and resources dedicated to program improvement, training, pathway development, a healthy workforce that supports residents and fellows and organizational goals such as patient safety and quality of care.<\/p>\n

The role of the Program Manager is to ensure that residency and fellowship program goals are met and reported with accuracy and efficiency, with a focus on resident and fellow education, clinical competency development, resident\/fellow well-being, program efficiency, and compliance with accreditation standards, with measurable metrics such as board pass rates, resident satisfaction scores, timely completion of rotations, and quality improvement project outcomes.<\/p>\n
