Kaiser Permanente has been committed to providing culturally responsive, prevention-focused health care to patients for over 65 years. Our integrated, technologically advanced, outcomes-based clinical care has been applauded by health experts across the nation.

We strive to be a national leader in providing culturally respectful care to the communities we serve. We are pleased to offer students and residents the opportunity be exposed to an integrated health care system that values technology, prevention and a diverse work force to obtain quality outcomes for its members.

Culturally-sensitive care and population-based health care are topics of emphasis in our elective opportunities. Students and residents are exposed to multiple initiatives, including Care Beyond Our Walls. Graduate Medical Education and the Kaiser Permanente Latino Association proudly support our Northern California Spanish Modules that give families another option for high-quality, personalized care in both English and Spanish and are located at multiple facilities in Northern California.

Our current elective and rotation opportunities that highlight our integrated system are listed below.
